ABOUT ME and HARD LEFT TURN

 

This website is designed as a platform for my writing and a place where your comments and insights are welcome.  I am a former prosecutor and criminal defense attorney who for much of the time from 1996 - 2013 was an international consultant working on legal reform and judicial reform projects in developing countries.  This work, previous work assignments, Peace Corps service, and extensive personal travels have taken me all around the globe.  I have lived in Latin America, Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus. 

 

Since 2013, I have been engaged in research and writing about current events, American politics, international affairs, and the issues that hopefully will support a solid foundation for a more progressive agenda  in the United States.  I have based much of my writing on experience gained through years of work, research, and travel in the U. S. and abroad.  

 

Hard Left Turn is the publication platform for much of my present work product.  My work product is regularly featured in Fair Observer, as well [ http://www.fairobserver.com/ ].   Over the years, I have written other pieces that have been published in print media.
